Flip4Good Partners with The Midnight Mission to Transform Transitional Housing

Flip4Good has partnered with The Midnight Mission to Flip all 13 units at their HomeLight Family Living facility. This collaboration begins with the Flip of a 700-square-foot, one-bedroom, one-bathroom unit. Flip4Good’s trauma-informed design principles will be used to create spaces that promote stability, dignity, and growth.
The HomeLight Family Living facility serves families in crisis, offering transitional housing alongside education programs, career development support, mental health counseling, and life skills training. “The environments we create for families are critical to their ability to move forward,” said David Prentice, President and CEO of The Midnight Mission. “This partnership ensures that HomeLight Family Living provides spaces where every family feels secure, respected, and ready to embrace the next chapter of their lives.”
Families arriving at HomeLight often face immense challenges, and creating supportive spaces can make a profound difference. “By Flipping these units, Flip4Good is helping to create an environment that matches the strength and resilience of the families who live here,” said Ricardo Rosales, Director of HomeLight Family Living. “This work enables them to focus on their futures.”
For Flip4Good, the partnership is a testament to the power of trauma-informed design in transitional housing. “Every Flip represents a chance to create environments where families feel empowered to rebuild and thrive,” said Erika Brulé, Co-Founder and CEO of Flip4Good. “The partnership with The Midnight Mission reflects our shared vision of transforming transitional housing into spaces that offer the safety, dignity, and functionality families need to succeed.”
Flip4Good and The Midnight Mission are creating impactful, healing spaces for unhoused families in Los Angeles, supporting their journeys toward independence and self-sufficiency.
