Sarah is a nonprofit program leader and administrative professional with more than 15 years of experience supporting youth, families, and vulnerable communities. Her background spans direct service, program development, and organizational operations, with a particular focus on trauma-informed care, healing arts, and empowerment through creative expression.
She spent over six years at Safe Place for Youth in Venice, CA, where she served as Director of Empowerment Programs and previously led the Healing Arts and Access Center programs. During her tenure, she managed a $1.75M program portfolio, oversaw multidisciplinary teams, and built partnerships that integrated mental health supports with creative engagement opportunities for youth experiencing homelessness. Her earlier roles include case management at Gramercy Housing Group, classroom support at the Grace S. Webb School, and creative design work in the wellness sector.
Sarah holds a BFA in Media Arts from the University of Hartford and completed a study abroad program at the London College of Communication. She is certified in Social Emotional Arts Facilitation and has completed professional training in project management. She lives in Santa Monica.
