The facility is located in the southwestern region of Los Angeles. To protect the privacy and safety of the residents, the exact address will be provided upon registration.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
Move and Assemble Furniture: Help bring the design vision to life by setting up desks, tables, chairs, and other functional pieces throughout the therapy suites and business center.
Hang Artwork and Décor: Add the finishing touches with artwork and decorative elements that create a calming, inspiring environment.
Set Up Workstations + Therapy Areas: Arrange furniture, seating, and supplies to make each area ready for focus, connection, and use.
Organize and Arrange: Assist in organizing materials and arranging furnishings to ensure every space feels intentional and balanced.
Clean and Prep: Wipe down surfaces, unpack supplies, and make sure the entire space is spotless and ready for residents and staff to enjoy.
Collaborate with the Team: Work alongside other volunteers and the Flip4Good crew to keep the day running smoothly from start to finish.
Quality Check: Join the final walk-through to make sure every detail aligns with the design plan and feels complete.
REQUIREMENTS
Physical Stamina: Ability to lift and move furniture and other heavy items.
Team Player: Strong collaborative spirit and ability to work well with others.
Attention to Detail: Eye for detail to ensure everything is placed perfectly and looks inviting.
Commitment: Available to be onsite for the entire duration of the Flip Execution Day.
Passion: Enthusiasm for Flip4Good’s mission and a desire to contribute to meaningful change.

The HomeLight Family Living Program at The Midnight Mission supports families experiencing homelessness in greater Los Angeles. The Midnight Mission believes everyone deserves a healthy, happy, and dignified life, essential for true recovery. With over 100 years of experience, The Midnight Mission emphasizes self-sufficiency through accountability, providing a clean, safe, and supportive environment for families to rebuild their lives.
Established in 1994, the HomeLight Family Living Program offers 11 fully furnished apartments in a safe area of Los Angeles. This program serves as a haven for families affected by abuse, addiction, poverty, and homelessness, offering a path to a healthier, self-sufficient life. Families typically stay for one year, receiving comprehensive support, including mental health therapy, job preparedness, and family reunification.
