Flip4Good is proud to announce the appointment of Alan Becker to its Board of Directors. A seasoned leader in operations and finance, Alan brings decades of cross-sector experience and a deep commitment to advancing housing equity through design.

Alan’s career spans roles at Apple, Dow, and numerous startups and nonprofits. For the past seven years, he has focused on supporting transitional housing organizations, most recently serving as board treasurer for the San Francisco SafeHouse.

His track record reflects technical expertise and a genuine belief in the power of perseverance, collaboration, and inclusive leadership.

“I’ve worked with organizations worldwide, but Flip4Good’s model struck a chord,” said Alan. “Design is too often treated as a luxury. This team sees it as a lever for dignity and stability—and I’m honored to help scale that vision.”

Flip4Good Founder + CEO Erika Brulé shared her enthusiasm: “Alan doesn’t shy away from complexity, he seeks it out. He’s one of those rare leaders who brings both systems thinking and soul to the table. His operational rigor, board experience, and values alignment make him an incredible asset as we build for scale.”

Alan will focus on strengthening Flip4Good’s financial foundation in his board role, helping the organization build a resilient funding model to support long-term growth and impact.

From global supply chains to small nonprofit teams, Alan has made a career out of solving hard problems with heart. We’re thrilled to welcome him to Flip4Good.
