Rebecca Fairman, a leader in Interior Architecture and an expert in Well-being Design and Neuroaesthetics, has joined Flip4Good’s Board of Directors as Chief Design Officer. Rebecca, who led the design of Flip4Good’s inaugural Flip, will now shape the organization’s trauma-informed design strategy, reimagining transitional housing spaces to foster healing, dignity, and stability.

Her work combines Environmental Design Psychology, Neuroscience, and Interior Architecture to deliver spaces that support mental, physical, and emotional well-being. At Airbnb, where she leads Global Architecture & Interiors, Rebecca has focused on creating environments that foster connection and belonging on a global scale. “Flip4Good recognizes the transformative power of thoughtful, intentional design,” Rebecca shared. “Every environment sends a message about the value of the people who occupy it. We’re empowering individuals and families to rebuild and thrive by creating spaces that embody stability and self-worth. I’m honored to contribute to a mission where design becomes a tool for progress.”

Rebecca’s experience spans worldwide hospitality, workplace, and residential projects, including work for refugees through Airbnb.org. Previously, she served as Senior Hospitality Designer and Health & Wellness Practice Leader at Gensler and is currently writing a guide on modern home design rooted in Environmental Design Psychology.

In her new role, Rebecca will help scale Flip4Good’s mission to transform transitional housing into spaces that enable individuals and families to move forward with strength and confidence.
