Flip4Good has welcomed Sarah Geske, NCIDQ, IIDA, to its Advisory Board. A Los Angeles–based commercial interior designer with more than eight years of experience in healthcare and workplace design, Sarah has been a trusted collaborator since the organization’s earliest days.

While at HOK, Sarah was part of the original team that developed industry-recognized trauma-informed design principles and applied that expertise to Flip4Good’s first Flip—a proof-of-concept project that redefined what a healing-centered space could look like in transitional housing. Her leadership, creative problem-solving, and ability to balance functionality with materiality and visual harmony made her a cornerstone partner in bringing that milestone to life.

Sarah now continues her work at HLW, where she designs environments that elevate the human experience across sectors. Her achievements include Interior Design Magazine’s NEXT Award, the Women’s Leadership Award, and selection to the ThinkLab Gen Z Cohort. She also serves on the IIDA LA City Center Board, contributing to industry engagement and professional development.

“Sarah understands how to bridge big-picture vision with the granular details that make a space truly work,” said Erika Brulé, Founder + CEO of Flip4Good. “From day one, she’s brought design expertise grounded in a deep understanding of how trauma-informed environments can foster stability and healing. Having her perspective on our Advisory Board strengthens our ability to push this work forward.”

Reflecting on the role, Sarah shared, “Being part of Flip4Good’s first Flip showed me the immediate and lasting impact design can have on people’s lives. Joining the Advisory Board is an opportunity to keep advancing this mission—designing with intention, backed by research, to create environments that help people rebuild and thrive.”

Sarah’s appointment marks a continuation of the collaboration that began before the first wall was painted or piece of furniture was placed—one grounded in shared commitment to creating environments where stability, dignity, and healing are built into every detail.
