Los Angeles, CA, USA
October 28, 2025 at 8:00:00 PM

On October 21, 2025, Flip4Good was officially registered as a trademark with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). This registration affirms Flip4Good’s identity as a distinct and protected brand serving communities through trauma-informed design in transitional housing.

The Flip4Good name reflects a dual purpose: to create lasting impact, and to act in service of individuals and families navigating periods of transition. Trademark protection ensures that this identity remains clear, recognizable, and legally secured as the organization continues to grow.

“This name carries everything we’ve built—and everything we’re building toward,” said Erika Brulé, Founder + Chief Executive Officer. “It stands for design as intervention, for healing environments, for the people at the center of our work. Securing the trademark ensures it stays intact, owned, and aligned with our mission.”

This milestone marks a significant step in the evolution of Flip4Good’s work. As the organization expands its programs, deepens its partnerships, and formalizes key operational structures, brand integrity remains essential. Federal trademark registration reinforces that commitment.

Flip4Good thanks its supporters, collaborators, and legal partners for their role in reaching this moment.
