Dimitra “Dimi” Dorbacopoulos, CID, IIDA, is the Founder and Principal of Kastella Design Studio, a Los Angeles-based commercial interior design practice. A California native who grew up in the canyons of the San Gabriel Mountains, Dimi brings nearly two decades of experience leading interior architecture projects, with formative years at Gensler, CO Architects, and RBB Architects.

Her portfolio spans healthcare, health + wellness, K-12 and higher education, hospitality, sports and entertainment venues, athlete performance and training facilities, workplace, and multi-family and community housing environments. Her design philosophy is shaped by an early life of movement and observation: years on horseback and remote trails in Southern California, professional soccer in Europe, and immersion in classical European architecture during her early career. These influences inform Kastella’s signature approach, which balances architectural structure with organic nuance to create environments that feel both purposeful and alive.

As Advisor, Partnerships and Strategic Capital at Flip4Good, Dimi focuses on partnership development, strategic capital, design challenge expansion, advocacy, and mission-aligned visibility. Beyond client work, she partners pro bono with the Foothill Catalog Foundation on wildfire recovery efforts in Altadena and the Pacific Palisades, and is a longtime supporter of the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI).
