Lauren Gamboa is a strategy consultant at McKinsey & Company, where she works with organizations navigating growth, complexity, and long-term strategic decisions. She brings a background in management consulting, financial analysis, business strategy, operational design, and revenue enhancement, with experience across corporate, nonprofit, start-up, and impact-driven environments.
Before joining McKinsey, Lauren founded Cultivé, where she collaborated with sustainably minded and purpose-driven organizations on brand strategy. She has also advised start-ups on business development, marketing strategy, and brand positioning, and previously served as a senior consultant in the financial services sector, focusing on risk management, operational design, and revenue growth.
Lauren earned her MBA from the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business, where she also served as a Graduate Student Instructor for MBA and Executive MBA courses in leadership, management, ethics, and DEIB. She holds a BBA from the University of Notre Dame’s Mendoza College of Business, with studies in management consulting, Spanish, and international business.
